Charles C. Helmer, Jr.

Chuck has over 25 years of experience. He pursues project opportunities, drives design, maintains client relationships in multiple sectors, and manages projects and teams from design to construction. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Chuck is a licensed Architect and Interior Designer and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and National Council for Architectural Review Board (NCARB). 

Owen Gipson

Owen joined DAG in 2005 and was named Principal in 2019. He leads the Panama City office. Owen places great emphasis on design documents and believes it’s those documents that provide the strongest communication tool, connecting the process of design to the built environment.

Owen’s design experience ranges from university sports venues to K-12 schools, dormitories, healthcare facilities, and community centers. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He has certifications from the Florida Department of Education for State Requirements for Educational Facilities and Chapters 453 and 468 of the Florida Building Code.
