Long Beach Lagoon

Southeastern United States
A master-planned coastal destination inspired by mid-century design featuring a pedestrian-friendly Main Street and immersive environments that blend regional character, entertainment, shopping, and dining to create an iconic family attraction along the Southeastern coast.

A conceptual master-planned development showcasing mid-century, coastal–inspired architecture, thoughtfully blended with distinctive cultural and environmental elements reflective of the Southeastern shoreline. At its heart will be a vibrant “Main Street” pedestrian promenade, designed to create an inviting, walkable guest experience that encourages exploration, connection, and discovery.

Main Street will feature an aesthetic aligned with the project’s mid-century theme, capturing the relaxed charm and character associated with historic coastal communities throughout the Southeast. Every element of the development will be carefully curated and designed to incorporate regional influences, authentic materials, and timeless mid-century design details. In addition to the design and environment, DAG also supported the amusement packages, and lake front scope. Long Beach Lagoon is envisioned as a place that engages guests’ senses while evoking nostalgia, with thoughtful storytelling woven throughout the environment—ensuring that every corner reveals a unique detail or memorable moment. The design team kept asking “is it fun yet?” This question became the driving force for the design.

The mission is to create an iconic family destination along the coast, offering a dynamic mix of amusements, entertainment, shopping, and dining that appeals to visitors of all ages.
