Shelter Cove Towne Centre

Shelter Cove Towne Centre is a 42-acre redevelopment consisting of more than 270,000-square-feet of retail space, 240 luxury waterfront apartments and a seven-acre linear park. This “de-malling” project was reimagined with the demolition of an enclosed single-level mall and one of the three anchor tenants, transforming it into a mixed-use development of shops, restaurants and residences overlooking Broad Creek on Hilton Head Island. Shelter Cove Towne Centre is now a unique, upscale walking destination, fashioned after a southern fishing village. This vibrant shopping destination provides both residents and the 2.5 million yearly visitors with an outdoor shopping experience in an open, park-like atmosphere. With attention to the heritage of Hilton Head, indigenous colors and materials complement the design.
