Joining DAG in 2007, Derek has gained a reputation for his diligence in driving teams to design and build for long-lasting quality and sustainability. A graduate of Mississippi State University, with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Derek has grown to become a strong advocate for usable, enjoyable, and environmentally sound projects. He believes that the client’s experience in the design and construction of the project is paramount to its success. His contributions to the design team will often focus on constructability and the building envelope . While seemingly inconsequential to design, these are  important factors in avoiding building issues. Derek strives to work within the boundaries of budget and client expectation, and in doing so raises the bar for the team.
