Florida Department of Revenue Offices at Capital Circle
Tallahassee, Florida
DAG collaborated with a Jacksonville firm on this three-building headquarters complex for the Florida Department of Revenue. Located on a 48 acre site in Tallahassee and directed by the Florida Department of Management Services, this was the first LEED project developed by the DMS. Although the original goal was to achieve a LEED Silver Level, the target was revised and the complex was awarded Gold certification.
The complex of two 200,000 SF, five-story buildings and an 80,000 SF, two-story building allows the Department of Revenue to consolidate its offices from 18 other locations in Tallahassee, and enables the more than 2,200 DOR employees to interact more efficiently and effectively. DAG produced the design and construction documents for the two story call center building, and also conducted on-site reviews for all three buildings during construction.
